There are certain things that will make me delete someone from my Hotlist - one of them being status updates that don't reflect well on the author.
Do you have any particular reason that will make you remove people from your Hotlist? |

"I use my hotlist to keep track of people, rather than who I find 'hot'. So delete can be because of too many reasons to list. Not the best answer "
Don't worry, you're not alone - half mine is Notlist as well. It's a good way to track anyone you want to avoid, and anyone they've had contact with.

I use my private note facility a lot on profiles to keep track of what or why I would not meet etc if they mail, or re-mail. |

I have 50/50 hot and not for the same reasons, admittedly there more hot than not currently. That’s probably due to the Pandemic though as I’m not avoiding anyone currently.
People’s general opinions are my reasons, you can be attractive on the outside but if you’re a bit of a prick on here or out politics are too diverse then I can’t see us getting on in the bedroom or socially so why bother. |

This, plus certain opinions that surface in threads that I can't abide with."
You have site supporter, use the private note facility |

I have a small hot list, which get added and substracted from practically daily .
Statuses are one of the reason , but also my coming to my senses ( too far , different interests, my being rejected, me deciding they're twats, blah blah blah ) |

Yeah, I use that as well. I just find that some status updates make people sound awful, and regardless of how cute they look, they're cut! Some of my private notes on people are quite startling as well. |

I feel like I'm missing something here. Why do you want to see updates on people you don't like?
Ours comprises of people we've yet to strike up a friendship with. They may come off the list if we establish they're not for us, or they progress to the friends list.

Certain things said on the fora.
Erm, trying to think of other reasons... if their profile is a bit inactive. If I'm having a clear out and realise I only added them because I was gagging for anything vaguely sexual. Sometimes I'm cleaning it up a bit because I don't like too many people in any list. |

I don't, that's the point - their updates are sometimes the reason I remove them. |

Mainly use it for people I'm open to meeting with "
This
If I work up the courage to message them and they don’t reply then I remove |

Exactly the same for me -especially if i am talking to them offsite but want to still refer to their profile or look at their pics again. |

It's a brilliant answer and I glad you said that because that's exactly how I use my hotlist |

Only tend to remove is if I decide that I am going to message you
And tell you that I think ur hot and I get a no thank you or no reply |

One of my uses for the hotlist is for people I'm interested in messaging. Once I've messaged them, I remove them. and forget about it. If anything comes of the message, then great, but mostly it just slips into ether.
If I send a message and it's read, and deleted without a reply, then they go on the block list, to avoid bothering them again.
But best of all, is for them to go on my friends list.

Arse licking in the forums.
Sending me a three page message about what they’d like to do to me sexually.
Flirting with everyone on the forums but me and then hitting me up for some side action flirting on the down low.
Messaging me to ask how I am after 2 years. I’ve moved on, that’s how I am!!
That’s it I think. As you can see, I’m a fairly laid back lass |

I think using the word ‘author’ is overegging it, unless they’ve had their status updates published. |

I've removed a few who's status updates make it sound like they are still arranging meets during lockdown. That's certainly changed my view on a few people. It also surprises me as several of those still meeting have a strick policy about sexual health.... Don't want to contract an std but happy to risk their's or someone else's life with covid. |

These days I add / remove based on
Attitude ( some rude people on here, unfortunately just don't know how to use a forum like this )
People who want to meet/brag about a meet they have had during covid
People who suddenly start mentioning drugs in their statuses. Can't abide a junkie! just scum frankly :/
Other than that some people have been on my hotlist gathering cobwebs for months and very likely to remain there
