Do you think clowns are funny ? By clowns I mean the kind you see at a circus, not the ones who send on line messages such as , "wanna fuck" - those kind of clowns are definately not funny I think we all will agree on that one.
No .... Circus clowns. personally I don't find them in the least bit funny, in fact I'd go so far as to say that they are downright stupid and unfunny.
I class myself as having a good sense of humour, enjoying such delights as Airplane, Naked Gun, Police Squad, Monty Python, Laurel and Hardy ...
But clowns ? Just cannot get away with them at all.
Not even sure why I posted this to be honest, it is of no relevance whatsoever to anything |

I just think the time of the Clown and to an extent the circus is at an end. Some people may think clowns are hillarious but i think most of us in the UK (kids included) think the whole concept of the clown is way past it's sell by date. The circus was popular once but has virtually died a death with the advent of other forms of entertainment, easier travel and better animal rights and i'm sure one day circuses and clowns will just be a distant memory to be read in the history books!
And no, i think clowns suck big time! |

"I can understand kids being scared but i can't quite understand why an adult would be scared of a clown? What is it that makes them scary??"
my sister is terrified of clowns and has been from being a child - a phobia tends to be illogical and you don't grow out of them |

Is anyone else a big fan of Frasier and remembers that episode where there was a nurse with a phobia of clowns? The bit where he tried to scare his dad dressed up and holding a cleaver was just fab lol |

Some clowns are brilliant.
The traditional circus clown, usually in a group, with a car that falls apart etc are funny.
The bit I like are clowns that are actually very skilled at acrobatics or perhaps highwire or balance work, especially working in a team..... pure class!! |
