I haven't done much smiling today. I'm not unhappy, not at all, I'm one day into stopping vaping and I'm a bit preoccupied with managing nicotine cravings. Meli's profile pic properly made me smile though. She's too cute |

Watching Toyah, and hubby Robert Frith, perform Rebel Yell on their Sunday Lunch.
How Toyah can bounce around on a trampoline, and also sing Rebel Yell without being comotosed I will never know.
One seriously fit lady in every sense of the word. |

I took my little boisterous dog for a walk up the moors earlier. I hadn’t realised the Houdini bastard had slipped his collar off. He was still walking by my side. I was bowled over with love for him. Any other time he would have been off like a rabbit out of a trap.
I found a lot of joy in that. |

"The helping spirit and well wishers towards Ace
How's he doing? "
We were having a message chat with him at this afternoon and he is ok.
He's obviously battered and bruised but seemed in good enough spirits.
He's having issues getting on the Internet at the moment but will be back on the forums as soon as possible. |

As I took a wine glass out of the cupboard earlier it shattered in my hand. I sent my friend a photo with a comment about the glass shattering as it hadn’t seen the light of day for months.....
She replied with “ just drink it out of the bottle” ........ I laughed like hell |

Can I cheat with respect to today?
Stood in a queue for some bulbs in a light shop, with my gdaughter who at the time, was probably 10.
Out of the blue she says "I want shingles."
"You what.....No you seriously don't and please talk quietly, not yell."
"Yes I do, I want shingles."
The queue is doing it's best to avoid us and get as far away from us as possible, by this stage. Before I had a bright idea...
"What is shingles?"
Her hand goes skyward and I get the death stare accompanied by "Them." "Don't you know anything?"
It turns out she wanted chandeliers which was a relief to everyone in the shop....and those that had decided to leave the shop and run up the road. |

I thought for a minute (If I'm truthful, several.) you was a sloppy protestant. Then it dawned on me, what your profession could be. |

Are you talking Hillman Avengers? Guessing not, but I presume that 99% of parents after the last 10 months or so will see your profession, in a whole new light?
The looks of relief, as they deliver their little treasures into the new interesting world of their trainer, must be seriously funny? |
