Probably been done already but anyone been afflicted by nostalgia during lockdown? What’s been your sad and guilty pleasure?

Honestly no.
I can't say I was particularly happy beforehand, so kinda hoping I'll come out the other end more confident and serene.
I don't really want to revisit the past as a lot of things have memories attached that remind me of loss of some sort.
I had a weepie NYE when I thought back to the previous new year when I was full of hope, love and wedding dress ideas  I wasn't sad as such, it was almost like I was viewing that last years version of me and thinking "oh you poor cow, you have no fucking idea what's coming" |

Yes. I had to stop watching Last of the Summer Wine during lockdown as it reminded me too much of my Nan and gramp who passed away a few years ago and was making me sad. I think emotions are just heightened at the moment or you’re aware of them more because we aren’t getting out and above as normal. You can think too much and it can turn inwards.
I’m overly sentimental anyway at times. They don’t call me La “lowers the mood” Luna for nothing!

Bet even the music does it...so sorry for your losses. Looking back is bittersweet...life seemed simpler but probably wasn’t. It’s okay to be sentimental! X |

I have bathed in nostalgia since lockdown. For instance, I have found watching Cheers on C4 every day to be highly comforting.
That could also be a harking back to a pre-Trump Golden Age of America that probably never existed. |

We've been transferring old home videos to digital storage so lots of reminising and a fair few cringy moments of the fashion and haircuts variety along with the awwww weren't the kids cute/funny/downright hillarious stuff  |
