Lots of love for Disturb covering sound of silence.

I prefer their version of land of confusion. Genesis.

Also, Heather Nova also did a great cover of Bruce Springsteen's I'm on fire.

Had to look up Godhead covering Eleanor Rigby, damn fine.

Marcia Griffith’s cover of The Beatles Don’t Let Me Down

Most versions of Walk On By, but especially Isaac Hayes or the Strang*rs.

Urge Overkill with Neil Diamond’s, Girl You’ll be a Women Soon

Matthew’s Southern Comfort’s version of Woodstock which for me is the best by far.

The most bonkers is David Bowie’s cover of A Windmill in Old Amsterdam which I only discovered the other day.

Going to add a complete album of covers, released late 80s to raise money for Childline it was...

Sgt. Pepper knew my father

the band list - The Three Wize Men, Wet Wet Wet, The Christans, The Wedding Present with A_elia Fletcher, Hue & Cry, Billy Bragg with Cara Tivey, Frank Sidebottom, Sonic Youth, Courtney Pine Quartet, Michelle Shocked, The Triffids, The Fall

Every artist/band did a wonderful interpretation, none distracting from the original
