Just out of curiosity why dont some people have their face on show?

I sometimes will for a face pic Friday, but rather than that I keep my face hidden as it shows off my long hair and i think it would make it easy for local people to know who I am, I wouldn’t say because I’m embarrassed to be on here it’s just I don’t want the added attention or drama, but too be honest no one would probably know me or even bat an eyelid haha

I stopped having them public once my children got old enough to potentially access the site.

I'm not ashamed, it's no secret from them that I'm on here, however I don't want to be 'out there' for their friends to see.

Even without face pics on I've had creepy people, pretend to stalk me or contact me through other ways, as they assume because I'm on here I'm fair game and wouldn't mind. Id put money on that if I had face pics on my profile it would only get much much worse.

I used to work somewhere dominated by older men. One of the younger guys was ribbing me as he saw me on Tinder and you would think I'd been spotted in readers wives from the way they reacted to it. Just made for a really sleazy atmosphere, and Tinder is pretty socially acceptable! I'd feel incredibly vulnerable and judged surrounded by men who knew I was on here.

Because we get immature people stealing these and creating another account on any other app is creepy and those don't realise how dangerous it is but getting caught with other people's picture on any device would cause a concern for the police it's not normal behaviour but is a violation of a person's privacy we live in a society off some weird people....

Because I had to report my ex to the police for stalking me for 5 years. At the time I had loads kf face pictures on a fetish site but now I'm more reluctant as he threatened to send nudes of the girl he cheated on me with to her sister. My family wouldn't judge me but I don't really want my sex life shoved under their nose like that.

I was working with the FBI trying to uncover the location of a bomb, and I had a face transplant with John Travolta for a reason I don't 100% remember. Weirdly he then stole my face and now it's all gotten a bit weird and I think he might be knobbing my wife.

I've tried to upload my face pic but the mods keep rejecting it, saying it's clearly a photo of John Travolta. It's a difficult time for me.

For privacy. We don’t want our children, family or friends seeing our photos and knowing it’s us. We don’t want them to know what we enjoy in our private life.

If our kids friends were to find out it could make life very uncomfortable for our children.

Plus, one of us had a job where being on here could cause problems, if we were identified.

We will share face pics with people we click with and intend to meet but they would be ‘clean’ photos.

I sometimes have my face picture public... when I’m feeling brave and usually only for a short while for a couple of reasons:

1. Work. I’d rather my colleagues didn’t know I am on here, or especially any clientele.

2. It’s just another part of me that can be insulted by someone if they are rejected or I don’t respond to their messages. Stings a bit more when it’s face rather than body insults ha.

I don't go into clubs and if I know someone on this or other sites I tend to know about it before we get to the point of swapping face pics (it's happened - as soon as I figure who they are I block to save any further embarrassment). I don't meet without having a fair amount of conversation.

I don't need anonymity, but I also don't want to be negotiating a contract with a sales rep who drops into the middle of it that he's seen my photos. If I know up-front I can prepare myself, if it happens mid-negotiation it would certainly make me distracted and would undermine me.

I choose to share face pics with specific people, I choose not to have them on public display.

I don’t think it’s the same oddly. I don’t know how others feel about this.

Quite often people who recognise people on her screenshot and so all sorts of other creepy things.

In person, at a social or at a club I think there’s a recognition of secrecy and confidentiality that both parties respect. Generally because by outing the person you know, you in turn out yourself.

It’s also easier to address it in person and agree the ground rules (i.e. what we do outside of work stays outside of work)

You can't take photos in swingers clubs. If I met someone for a social and knew them then all they can do with that is tell people. If they took a photo, all they have is a photo of me out for a drink/coffee.

I don’t go to clubs. I don’t tend to meet people too local and I don’t think I’ve ever sent my face pic first so unlikely to happen for me.

I once had a single profile on here all my pictures were copied and used to set up a fake profile even contacted some of the people who had verified me there always hidden now, I always send face pictures before we meet someone x
