Well this weekend would be one year since I attended Heathrow and the joy and happiness that's brought into my life. So I should be having lots of sex and playing (winning) a board game in between the sexing with my patient partner in a very nice hotel but instead I'm rather tiddled on pomegranate fizz and wasting time on here until I feel I can sleep.
That's fine though, he's probably relieved I'm not draining him repeatedly. |

"Fielding student emails before classes start again on Monday - same as always at this time of year. "
Oh yes. I’m a student. I feel ya. I emailed my lecturer at 11pm the other night and got a reply! Madness. |

Probably thinking about the same stupid rubbish I think of.
Like, why does a packet of ham never 'peel here' when it's specifically designed to 'peel here' |

It's much easier to reply at stupid o'clock than resolve the panic on Monday morning! |

I found myself googling tonight if sneezes really are an 8th of an orgasm as that’s the closest I’ve been for a while lol .
Also why can you never peel a yoghurt lid clean off it’s always got stuff on.
Hmmm x |

The college have advised our lecturers to try and have a weekend and turn off comms over the weekends but it’s easier said than done for some of them. It’s a tense time for a lot of students right now no matter what stage of education you’re in. I’m off to uni in September although it’ll be from home more than likely due to this situation x |

I advise my staff not to work weekends but I know they're marking exams now because they want a clean start to the next semester. I understand. We've had new students start as well as continuing ones, so there's a lot on and I'd rather send a few emails on the weekend to make everyone's life easier next week. I'm teaching first thing on Mon for 3hrs straight so no time to deal with issues anyway |

Wow. That’s a big effort. Well done you. All my lectures are on zoom only two out of our four actually bother to teach the rest is more self guided learning and then plenary at the end of the lesson to feedback what we’ve learned. So much screen time is killing us all. X |

My students are all international so we've been almost entirely online since March. Sept to Dec we had a handful here in the UK so put on 2.5hrs per module, per week in person and the rest pre recorded lectures and independent study tasks. Obviously we're back totally online now so the in-person lessons just happen in the online classrooms. We did time controlled online tests for semester 1 last week, plus new starter induction and rewrote the timetable for the fully online. Students are from -5 to +9 UK time |

Hard work, but rewarding. We must do something right. I get Happy Christmas emails from students I taught 7/8yrs ago. It's that sort of thing that drives you. |
