ive just heard from Ace Winger, he hasnt been on for several weeks and sometimes people wonder if hes ok, so the news is that, he was assaulted on boxing day and after four days in hospital and 7 cracked ribs, hes home again but in pain. he is having difficulty getting online which is driving him nuts.he is trying to get that connection sorted out next week, so he wanted me to let erect jim et al know he was 'sort of ok' but thats why he wasnt about right now..
if you see this and can message Jim that would be awesome, if you have a way of contacting Ace, other than online, im sure hed like some communication.
im sure youll join me in wishing him a speedy recovery, so he can see it on his return xx |

Oh no! This is really sad news but I am so glad that he is on the road to recovery.
Please let him know that we are thinking of him and look forward to him returning when able to.

Well ive just had a chat with Ace and he sounds in good spirits.
He dies have a friend close by who is able to help him and he has also managed to hobble his way to his local Tesco so is able to get food can feed himself too.
He was mugged and had his watch, phone and wallet taken and left with not just broken ribs but black eyes and quite bruised and battered as well.
He is trying to get back online but is having troubles with his network supplier and will be back on Fab as soon as he can sort it out.
He is aware now that there is a thread about him and ive told him that lots of people are wishing him well and that he should expect a warm welcome upon his return.
Thankyou Suzy for sorting out his number for me, I hate to think of anyone struggling when there are so many on here who can offer a bit of support or an ear to bend.

Please make sure you do bossy him around and let others help him if you can, its a little hard to tell a stranger to let you help at time....I know as I would be just as bad myself |

So Lornajo is trying to work out a way t help out Ace, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions then send them her way and he is close enough to me I think that I can go see him (distanced and PPE'd) to help out.
