Cause if we did tell you, you’d probably leave us, so we give you the answer’s we think you want to hear like, ‘Aren’t bluebells lovely in meadows in the spring!’
But what we were really thinking was ‘Why didn’t Fred Flintstone just walk, he was using his feet anyway, plus the weight of that car, what with them stone wheels, plus taking Barney must have been close to half a tonne! |

It’s because our minds in general are far more interesting than theirs.
Their minds are overwhelmingly dominated by the thoughts of their next shag and when they can plan a weekend away with the girls for a blow out again.
I couldn’t live without them but man they’re so boringly predictable. |

Oh I know this problem well. The trouble is I'm generally asked at one of those moments where I am genuinely not thinking owt. Is a talent frankly, which I think is much underappreciated, and has taken many years to perfect.

Honestly, because sometimes I wish that some of the men I've encountered spoke more openly. If you have a grumpy face I'll presume I've upset you and I want to fix it. If you have a smile on your face I'm hoping I'm the cause of it or you'll share in the joke. If you're all distant and quiet I'm worried you're not ok and I want to help. |

I guess it's usually one of three things;
Your hungry and can't decide on what to eat
You are tired
You are trying to work out the algebraic order of the stairs and trying to concentrate because you know algebra and I'm getting mardy because I'm overthinking about why you're not talking to me; I'm playing the scenario of a "it's not you, it's me conversation" and I'm ready to start crying. That's when you wonder what all the fuss is about, you did not think algebra was that dramatic;
