Better get the razor out then
I have been clean shaven for all my life until about 18 months ago. Every says the beard really suits me.
It's only really long stubble as opposed to a real full on beard tho. |

There and to the left a bit |
I always used to be a definite non-beardy until about 5 years ago, mainly because I didn't think I'd be able to grow one, but decided to try and whilst it has never been particularly big or bushy, more long stubble, I have actually become quite attached to it.
Once trimmed it too short by accident and ended up shaving it completely and it felt kind of odd without it |

I love a beard and stubble so much more than clean shaven.
I love touching a beard as I kiss him, feeling and tasting my body on it after oral... bloody wonderful
Definitely a beard fan here

Same here. Feel like a twelve year old if I go clean shaven now. Last time I was clean shaven was my wedding in 2013. Its not a hipster beard, but not stubble. I'll trim it about once a week/10days back (or when the wife and daughter tell me it needs doing) to 3mm.
I don't buy into it having more germs than a toilet. For me, I take better care of my face with a beard than without. |

I first grew a beard in the '90's. I never let it get to a hippy style, hipster beard though. Then reduced it to only a around my mouth and eventually just got rid.
Then, last November I grew one again. I shave my head, so have the upside won head look if you like. I keep it short... 4mm or 5mm trim, and apparently it's a "salt and pepper" beard. (Well, I'm 54!)
I've received lots of positive comments about it, and been told it suits me by a lot of people. In fact, the majority view is the beard is for me (probably so they see less of my face). Also, it's opened up a whole lot of grooming opportunities which as I shave my head has been a absent from my life.
As with anything though, there will be those who say it's for them, and those who won't go near. The person whose opinion on it that would matter most likes it, but if she were to decree it goes, then it would be gone. |

"They seem to be the latest fashion accessory for guy. Love em or hate em ? For me there a no go area clean shaven every time please x "
Latest fashion accessory, any self respecting hipster wouldn’t be seen without one for at least the last 10 years?! |

"Speaking to a friend of ours he reckons he has had more sexual advances since growing a beard that’s said he thinks the cashier at Aldi saying good morning is a sexual advance "
Women love beards, that’s just one of the basics. |

Ok but it’s moving out of the hipster community of late maybe they started the fashion |

The lumberjacks started it, the hipsters borrowed the look, only without actually getting their hands dirty. |

I don't think the bearded men of today have cornflakes stuck in their beards |

I have a beard so immediately making myself unattractive to some, it is part of who I am and like any other part will be liked by some and not others. I am ok with this and would not mould myself to suit another's ideal. |

Definitely clean shaven. I can tolerate some stubble if the guy is attractive and can hold a convo.
Seems to be another one of those things:
‘I know your profile says you don’t like beards, but just thought I’d contact you anyway...’ |

Mr grows one every winter, it keeps his face warm when he’s out on the quad and doesn’t scare people quite as much as a balaclava. This year he has gone the whole hog and has focussed the trimming to the sides and kept it long on the chin and a Hungarian style moustache.
He usually shaves it off around April, if he leaves it any later then he has to contend with tan lines where his beard was. This did happen a few years ago and looked hilarious for a week or two |

You mean you don't like a guy who can save a cornflake to nibble on it later? |

I have had my beard for years, usually cropped short, however I am growing it out and it really suits my face.
I do wash daily, that includes my beard and I use oil & balm to condition it like you would hair.
I have to say I do think I get more people flirt with me with a long beard than I did before
