Beef stew. I'm even gonna make my own Yorkshire puds.
You're so welcome.
New fridge freezer and shopping have both now landed so I can finally cook!
I shall be batch cooking over the next few days coz I'm trying to be all good and prepared. My slow cooker is gonna see some serious action (lucky fucker)
What's meals you got planned?

I don't get the lack of dumplings either, what's wrong with you woman?
I want McDonald's but I'm trying to liven up what I should be having - tonight spring onion and chilli glazed salmon with a Cobb salad, tomorrow baked sweet potato with cottage cheese and salad, chicken sausages with salad... basically rabbiting. |

I am at home with the sproglets today and in between lessons they do like to do some cooking. I was wracking my brain for something to slow cook ready for when mr gets in from work. Do I do a stew, curry or tagine? Or do I bake cakes instead and then order in fish and chips? |

That's just proper warmed me. I hope more parents are taking the time to let the children help with the cooking. It's a life skill and one that gets overlooked a lot of the time. Twenty somethings moving out not even knowing how to boil an egg

Peach's TOP TIP!
Do not leave your mask in the kitchen when cooking, especially onions.
You'll do what I just did and end up walking down the road with onions impregnated into your mask, crying like a right nobber and having no control over it.

Nigellas lemon chicken
Chicken / 2 lemons cut into quarters / thyme / whole garlic cloves peeled / potatoes cut into halves / 2 glasses white wine ( for the recipe - not you! Lol )
Put everything in a tray bake tin, add oil, the wine and a few knobs of butter. Cover with foil or a lid and bake for approx an hour.
Serve with sour cream and salad or veg

Quick question
I’ve thought about selling marinate in a jar
Such as blending combinations of fruit, veg & spices
So people can buy along with lunch bags and put a spoon in a bag with meat and cook next day for different grilled or baked flavoured recipes
What’s your honest thoughts?
Add more natural flavour rather than just the powders and purées |

I am totally the wrong person to ask. I've not cooked "properly" in a very long time. The odd meal here and there and that's been it really for years. I'd literally get piss myself excited if I had a Sunday off to do a roast. I'd normally just eat at work. |

This week I will be making a beef stew, 3 bean and vegetable chilli, and a paella.
I've never really got on with paella. I want to like it but I think it's the rice I ain't a fan of. I find it gritty
Often it depends how it's cooked,If it's not cooked properly it's horrible. "
That'll explain it then, I cooked it |

"Just cooked up a big batch of chili for the freezer, next is going to be either bolognese or chicken mole.
What the bugger is chicken mole?
Chicken mole is chicken (no way!) in a chipotle and dark chocolate sauce, and it’s foodgasm worthy "
I'd have to not know what I was eating when I tried it. Chocolate and chicken together doesn't sound right |

It is one of those ones that doesn’t sound quite right until you’ve tried it, I guess it depends on how much you like chocolate |

I'm not a massive fan unless I'm due on.
In fact, that's sometimes how I know Auntie Flow is imminent, I find myself buying up the choccie aisle in the shop |

"You're so organised Peachy.
I haven't been food shopping and have a serious case of CBA so I'm probably having porridge for dinner
Me and organised don't normally go in the same sentence unless I'm at work.
I've been living off pasta alone for a week until the new fridge and shopping arrived!"
Exciting
