I'm looking for some bulbs for indoors to flower in Spring, that I can order online.
I Googled and loads of results came back and confused me
I just want a few bulbs to give me some colour indoors and replace the winter plants that have died off.
Any suggestions as to where I can get them from in the UK?
I don't want to buy from Europe as they may not arrive until next winter.
Thanks in advance |

"They can be strong smelling.
I always get my spring bulbs from that site. 6 large pots planted. Great quality bulbs too. "
I can't do gardening at the moment so I wanted something for indoors.
I don't get much sunlight in my front windows and practically none in the back.
I prefer growing plants to artificial or cut flowers.

"Possibley too late. I would have thought they would be still in stock. Planting time is usually around Oct to Dec but its not that far past that. Hmmmm....."
I'll look at the Amaryllis then and hope my pots are deep enough.
I miss gardening so much. |

"Tete a tete are little mini dafs they nice u can get them ready potted in supermarket x"
I'm not going to my local supermarket for a while. I'm in the area that has highest rates of infection in the UK.
I'm wondering if I can get the plants sent already flowering.
Thank you |

Most spring flowering bulbs would have to be planted between Oct and December to flower in the spring so if you want colour you may be better buying pre-potted. Crocuses, tulips daffodils and hyacinths could be bought like this and then planted outside once they have finished flowering.
More tender bulb (and bulb like) flowering plants that you could keep indoors year round would be cyclamen, amaryllis and begonia.
My favourite house plant for cooler and darker areas though would be an aspidistra but it doesn’t flower.

Other than imported cut flowers, just forget indoor flowering plants over winter. I'd suggest an hardy evergreen shrub daphne odora planted outside but beneath a window or close to the house. The scent is just incredle. |

I can't plant anything near my windows. The back has concrete and the front is inaccessible by me
I wanted something to put in the pots I have indoors already.

I noticed all the geraniums and begonias in my handling baskets that didn't do much last year were starting to flower, re potted them and left them by the window and they flowering all over the place.
I realise this dosnt answer your question |

Try and get some that were potted up at the correct time.
Narcissi look gorgeous so do hyacinths but because they're outdoor bulbs they are inclined to be over much more quickly inside. Polyanthus are lovely colourful plants too |

Mini daffodils, crocus, snowdrops, mini tulips, any small bulbs. Trick is to pot them but leave them outside till they are nearly flowering as the heat will make them sprout a lot quicker than they are meant to |

I'm trying to find a company that delivers potted plants.
My local supermarkets don't deliver them.

You will need a sunny window cill for plants to grow indoors. Why not have a look in M&S, Lidl or Tesco for what is available now. |

I checked Lidl out earlier but there wasn't anything suitable.
I'll probably make an artificial arrangement now I've left it too late. |
