A question for younger men who DATE older women

We all know that many a young lad likes to fuck an older woman "as they know what they want" and other such clichés and banging a "MILF" maybe earns you some high fives from your mates?
But do any of you actually properly date older women and do so openly? If so, if you were say a late 20s/early 30s man, would you feel embarrassed to be seen out and about in a bar or restaurant with a woman in her 40s? Would you feel more comfortable with an (arguably) less hot woman closer to your age, than a sexy older woman because of the obvious age difference?
Would you worry that people would think you couldn't get someone decent your own age so you're making do with a "grateful" older woman? Or perhaps feel a bit shifty in case they thought you'd been preyed on by a cougar?
Would love to know your thoughts. Likewise from the women who date younger men. |

When I was 22 I dated a lady who was 48. And it wasn't for notch on my bedpost or bragging rights down pub. Neither of us felt embarrassed being seen out and about. But everyone is different I guess. |

No, I wouldn't feel at all ashamed. I have dated older women before, I dont care what anyone thinks.
It's all about a connection for me both physically and mentally. Apart from that age is just a number.  |

I've always been more attracted to the more mature woman, and it's never bothered me being on a date with one. Can't see that anyone would think anything was wrong with me, but good luck to em. They'd soon move onto to more interesting thoughts, anyway. |

Nope i have been in two relationships with women over 20 years older than me and my general feeling out and about was look at my partner smiling and all happy, gorgeous isn’t she.

I wouldn't feel ashamed at all its all about how you both feel, and to be true i don't care what anyone else would think, yer I know its easier for a man to say that but we have to live and enjoy life not think about other people and what they think of us |

As an older guy with a much younger partner, it's, quite often, me that gets embarrassed in public situations
If we go out for eats or a drink and he wants to hold my hand etc, it's me that feels awkward
Lots of people pass us off as father & son
I am fully aware that is my own pre-conceptions of what a couple should look like that needs adjusting, not his |

I did feel apprehensive about introducing my gf to my family even though she was only 7-8 years older. I guess due to the fact that I lacked maturity at the age of 30 so the gap was emphasised. That plus her tits were big. Whenever my mum and aunts meet a new gf of mine they always remark to me in Chinese how big their tits are. |

Younger men are not my preference but a couple of times, when telling them that I don't want to feel like a cradle snatcher etc, they've responded that I should just feel good and flattered that a younger man likes me. I found that a bit offensive actually, as though I'm supposed to be grateful.
Made me wonder if older women are a bragging right in terms of sex but a guilty pleasure for dates and that they secretly think they're doing us old hags a favour. |

Pretty much everyone my OH fancies is 40+
He is 26
I said this to his Mother when she effectively accused me of being a paedo for wanting to be with someone so much younger
I said if it's not me, it will be someone else my age, or older, he isn't interested in people his own age
She had more of an issue with the age gap than with the fact he wanted to shack up with another guy |

I’ve been on a few dates/socials with ladies that are significantly older than myself. Significant enough that it’s obvious. Definitely get a few odd looks, and i remember some other girl I was acquainted with making a comment about it, but it doesn’t bother me.
About the ungrateful comments. Sounds like you’ve just had an unfortunate interaction with a bunch of immature younger guys. |

The beauty of an older woman is a lot of the time it's difficult to guess her age just by looking
At 19 she was 30
At 20 she was 35,a different lady (and married)
Started young me you know.. 15 and she was 18 she squirted for fun

My ex was 12 years old than me and we dated for 3 years... I think the main difference was how confident she was within her body. She never worried about wrinkles, or trying to look younger!
I don't think I could ever date a woman 10 years younger than me! |
