Warbuton’s bread dilemma

So upon finishing one loaf and opening another for lunch(bonus double crust!), my dilemma is which end do I open? On plastic packaging it’s very obvious but what about paper ones? Do I open the left side or the right?

If there is writing from left to right, then I would always open the left side. Opening the side near the end of the words doesn't make any sense to me.

As somebody who is quite anally retentive, I have put some serious thought into this. I had work out which was the correct end to open a chocolate bar. Luke

Unrelated to which side to open but I must say that the bread does not keep anywhere near as well in the paper packaging.

Often found having to throw it out before it gets to the end of the loaf because of mould. Appreciate that it’s better for the environment but does the plastic wrapping out weigh the inevitable food wastage?

I would always open at the "S" end personally. But then turn your loaf over and you'll find youve opened it at the "W" end lol

Obviously need to make more effort!! Youre not eating enough bread if you can't finish it before it goes mouldy

I don't know the official answer and now I'm really confused.

I normally open right side, coz I'm right handed.

I prefer the Al*i tostie bread (orange packet), so fresh and has longer dates than most other breads

This is why I came here, for guidance from my peers. Most actions start from the left but reading a book goes from the right

You have clearly given your toast requirements some great thought.

Do you toast your bread on a higher setting till done.

Or

Like me, toast it on a lower setting and turn it over half way through for a bit longer?

i think that is more about how you are leping it, roll up the bag and put it in a cool dry place. easy.

I used to work for Warburtons ( actually met Jonathan, nice guy) a long time ago. So from an ex employee who’s met the family, I’d say you need to open at the ‘S’. All others opinions and answers should be ignored and only mine considered

Thank you Steph, duly considered until a more qualified person interjects!

This is the million dollar question why does Warburton's toastie bread not fit into a toaster?
