I haven’t been since I was a teenager, for reasons I won’t go into here, but I absolutely loved my skiing holiday as a teenager.

Now I just take the piste.

It's gone a bit downhill recently though"

We've all let ourselves down.

My excuse is I’m not fully focused, as I’ve over seasoned my Lancashire hot pot and I’m trying to salvage it from the brink.

You beat me to it, it was always a classic sign that the weekend was coming to an end when growing up.

Not going to be the same without the cowbells they should play them in the background like they do with fake football stadium noise

Big fan of Alberto tomba back in the day.

Loved skiing holidays and want to try more snowboarding next time.

The classic theme tune is supposedly by a group called Bob Sleigh and the Downhill Racers.

France, And sometimes in

Too frstrating to watch in the current covid era, One attraction that led to living in this part of France is that my nearest ski resort is 45 minute drive away. I snowboard and ski but all resorts are closed but full of snow, even bought my season pass in September to be ready. Also great fun going off piste for a bit of hot sex in the snow.

Why are they not having the cow bells, there are plenty of supporters there...

It's definitely gone downhill since the glory years and it's popularity seems to be on a slippery slope, going to be an uphill battle to get it's popularity to the top again

That has cheered us up....

first year we haven't skied in 10 years.

It's like having salt rubbed into a wound

Apparently it was to icy for the gritter so they couldn't get the cows up the slope

Love it. I left it far too late to learn - mid forties I think. Fell in love with the whole thing. Until last year I would go twice each season. So glad I pushed my sons who hated the lessons but quickly learnt. I get a real thrill watching them ski. Do it!

If the chance arises to get away this year, then I will definately be booking a ski trip.

Maybe we could get a Fabswingers ski group together.

The only skiing I will be considering this year would be

Skinning and climbing up Carnedd Dafydd in Wales or the dodds/ raise in Cumbria travel restrictions removed permitted

I love the mountains. Went each year for last 5/6 years bar last year and this year.

Even did a kinky ski week with 35 people from a fetish site we had 2 monster chalets and 2 apartments Was awesome fun.

I am a newbie snowboarder (damaged knee ) so really shouldn’t be on slopes as I have to wear knee leg armour to make it safer , I just enjoy the resorts , people , social aspects and looking after everyone in the chalet with cooking

Sadly my guy friend I go with died early this year so not sure I’ll go again as prob will never be the same .

I really loved val’d / zermatt

That sounds good

I've only ever been and done skiing

Would you say it would be an enjoyable holiday if not skiing

Trying to pursuade someone to go but they are not keen on trying skiing
