I passed my assessment today to become a member of one of the big three competent person schemes for electricians. Been stressing over it all week thinking I wasn't ready but it went ok, couple of errors to put right but it's still a pass!
I'm having a few beers tonight to celebrate while I watch the footy.  |

I did a job for a couple last weekend who wanted two new strip lights put in his garage. He was very happy with the work I did but I'm not sure if that means he's delighted or relighted? |

I have thought of changing it to sommat sparkyish but I'm Wishy, everyone knows me as Wishy. Can't change now.

I felt prepared but as with anything important in life you often think you haven't prepared enough. Couple that with a total mind blank in the first five minutes of my assessment when the guy asked me about what is written on the bonding clamp for an earth bond to the gas pipes and I couldn't think of a fookin single word! Totally couldn't remember, yet I fitted the damn thing two days ago!
