Haha it's not that I don't want to check, it's just I never do, a hi catches my attention more. Wish the winking option was banned, again, my opinion lol x |

I think a lot of people wink as it’s quick.
Often by the time you’ve written a polite message and sent it, the recipient has logged off.
And when they next log on, they received loads more messages and your polite one just gets ignored. |

Idint really check them either tbh. Especially random friemd requests. Bugs me more tho the people who have maybe 1 profile pic and that's it, send an invite. I always point out the only benefit is extra pics as as they have none I won't accept it. Lol |

Can't say for all women but i do read my messages. If you do get ignored all it means is " not for me" I've given up messaging back saying that as I then get told " i shouldn't judge with out talking" " why arnt I what your looking for" " why cant you give a regular guy a go" some csn get very precious. So it easy to say nothing most of the time. |

I declare a public holiday if I ever get a wink! I use them a lot, very little response but as others have said it's quicker than writing out a nice polite friendly message and getting no response. However if I wink someone and they look at my profile then I'll probably follow it up with a message. |

Thing is with that, alot of us women only view profiles in stealth mode. So you wouldn't know if we looked or not. |

They could work if people used them as a yes I'm interested in you signal. Saves all the wee shitty messages that girl hate anyway. And saves the guys like me who actually put bit of thought into a first message for it to only get pied anyway haha |

"Just say hi, if you have balls just say hi, if it's a no go from the lady move on. Again...my opinion and lots of hugs xx"
I think the issue with just saying hi is that women complain it's not original and men should try harder. I've started using winks because it's bit demoralising sending a lengthy, well thought-out message and it's either deleted or not read.
Now that's not to say I deserve a response all the time, but I'm just saying that from my experience, it's easy to give up and just send winks to see if there's a mutual interest. |
