So I've just pulled out my CD collection and cringed at some of the albums I've seen. Some of them were because of kids but even so.
So what music or albums did you own and really like that others would laugh at you for or you'd be embarrassed about.
I'm not sure I can even admit to mine someone make me feel better please. |

"People have always given me slack about Westlife but I'm not embarrassed.. I will forever be there number one fan "
Oh god. One of my best mates is a massive Westlife fan and she always used to sneak them into predefined playlist |

They actually came to me home town to a night club. I got picked out to dance the Aga do. Hangs head in shame and leaves the forum |

So much music which gets labelled as cheesy or embarrassing still gives a huge amount of pleasure to many, many people so embrace it ! Not that I own any, obviously... |

I'm not sure I can embrace the Paris Hilton album I've found. I'm convinced it's not mine as I don't recognise the songs. But it's in mint condition so has clearly never been played. I think music magpie might be the only way to go on that one.
Braced for the onslaught I'm going get for this. |

This is so true. I enjoy the memories and like to think of people who were around with me and see how we all evolved in time. Music transcends everything |

There and to the left a bit |
Well if you look through my Amazon Music collection it includes Elaine Paige, Bradley Walsh and One Direction amongst others....
...fortunately I can blame that on the Auto Rip function they offer with some CD purchases and Xmas/Birthday presents for others down the years |

As a teenager I bought the album Crazy Horses by the Osmonds.
I didn't tell any one at the time but now I'm quite proud that I found out quite early not to follow the crowd |

In defence of Westlife, they are one of the most versatile boy bands of their era. They really can ruin anybody's songs. |

"birdie song
I met the guy who wrote the Birdie Song when I was a kid. He was (I doubt he's still around) an Austrian accordion player called Werner Thomas. I used to have one of his albums. "
I believe he’s still on social media - he tweets regularly. |

My first single was bloody Jimmy Osmond and I still have it.
I moved on to greater things after that, or so I thought, Gary Glitter!! I have nearly all his singles and a couple of albums. Also saw him live on about 6 occasions.
I hang my head in shame

I’m not embarrassed by any of them but I’m very partial to my deacon blue album lately.
Also own such uncool albums as...
The circus~ take that.
Jagged pill ~ Alanis Morissette.
Fairground ~ simply red.
Diva ~ Annie Lennox
I could go on, and on. |

"What about a blast from the past, an incredibly scratched pinky & perky LP. In my defence I did get it when I was about 4."
We had the Pinky and Perky album too.
I can't remember any of the songs on it though. |
