Just been told I’m never 50 and if i am I must use filters on my pics ? Back handed compliment . Good diet and exercise and my father was Greek so i was blessed with good skin . What’s your worst back handed compliment? |

OP I have had pretty much the same 'no way are you 59 you must be lying to get attention' 'you must have had something done' etc etc I take it as a compliment good genes keeping fit never smoked not a big drinker
I'm now pushing 60. |

Well it depends on the person, yes it seems silly but some people actually crave acceptance and so they are vlnerable to it. The fact everyone is different means people can manipulate another person, what seems obvious and silly to one person, is actually quite a deep feeling to another. |

Sone people simply have better skin than others. And good diet and exercise are the main contributors. I doubt there’s any real evidence of Greeks having any noticeably better skin than other nationalities

That's the sun I reckon, olive skinned people in the uk stay young looking forever, if you go to turkey for example a lot seem to go from 30-100 with no inbetween. |

Oh that’s perfectly fine to phrase it as a belief or an opinion. I guess that’s all it is though is a personal opinion with no scientific grounding.
I mean, it could be argued that those living in hot climates have much worse skin as the sun badly dehydrates it. Anyway, that’s just another opinion and the question is multifaceted and not just a question of where one lives.

No I have no scientific evidence to back up my claim just personal opinion . If you look at the complexion of Spanish teenagers or Italian or Greek and compare it to uk the evidence speaks for itself but think diet also contributes as well as climate , fair to say the sun takes it toll in later years though |
