Thought I'd rerun my last thread as things have only got tougher in the last few weeks. Anyone who is sufffering with their mental health, hopefully this can help.
Sorry to hear your struggling.
Everyone's waiting lists are getting longer so unfortunately the waiting times are too. However, if you feel like you need to be seen now go to your GP or call 111 and request to be seen by the crisis team.
If you feel like you can manage without seeing someone, go to Minds website, they have some great coping methods.
In terms of daily help, you can do two things; do something creative and do some form of exercise. Doing one of these two things can benefit your mental health in a big way.
Finally, keep a journal, but keep two. One can be a place to put down your feelings/frustrations so they aren't taking over your thoughts. The second keep it positive, write down something good that happened that day and something you are grateful for. Its a way of acknowledging the good things that we all miss sometimes.
Most importantly, keep talking to people, never suffer alone. Reach out to anyone; family, friends, helplines, NHS services and even forums like this.
The world's a scary place right now but we can get through this together |

"And it doesn’t matter how small the item is that you are grateful for either. Recognising positives will make a difference "

Life is a right fucking challenging ball ache right now but we got though it last time, and we will get through it again.
Hug of support to anyone who needs one.
"
Absolutely, there's light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to hang on in there |

Thank you OP for raising this issue. There are more people out there on this site than we probably realise who are struggling with mental health. Here is a great place to seek help, support or simply be an outlet.
I am ex military and if there are any military, both serving or ex or blue light services, again serving or ex, out there who have such issues and feel they cannot outpour here, I can give the names of 2 FB groups that have been specifically set up with the aim of helping such people that have served or are currently serving. I am a member of both and the amount of support and help on both sites is incredible.
There are certain criteria to be met but I'm certain that those serving or who have served will meet them no problem.
Please feel free to DM me for further details. |

"Thought I’d show my support to this thread if anyone needs to chat I’ll happily listen
Nice of you to reach out, thank you
We should look out for one another "
Lovely thread OP. Coincidentally just got a call from and old school friend I haven’t talked to in a long while. He needed some chat and company. After the call, I realised I needed that call as much as he did.
So don’t wait till you very low. Feed your soul now and don’t wait. |

You dont have to go public with anything here. I'm sure those who are qualified would answer a DM from you should you choose to ask that way. |
