i ften joke with guys i know that i am one of the last normal girls left. i dont get all hung up on them, definately dont do the bunny boiler thing etc

You don't need to have bunny boiler tendancies to let someone know that you're interested or like them

I have been similar but ended up with guys that I really didn't want to be with; one who was cheating on me. I see now I was desperate for someone to love me, be with me and be like all the other women I saw and I didn't want to be left on the shelf so to speak, in reality, whilst being on my own isn't great, I see too many marriages that just aren't great. I just need to learn to relax and have fun, after all they say there is someone out there for everyone but I am not changing myself just to please someone else  |

I too believe there is someone for everyone. It can happen when you least expect, but not sure about the waiting though. Sometimes it is best to make a move, rather than let an opportunity slip by. 'Not worth anymore', far from it. I know enough from your posts, that (if I were 20 years younger) I would crawl over broken glass to get to know you. |

i used to feel like you then a friend came up with the engenious idea of re_iewing the type i went for and i did maybe re_iew the type of bloke you always go for on meets or that appeal to you socially and change the type you go for and see how it goes i did and ive been married to my exact opposite for 17 yrs now still baffels me but i love my friend ... i married him lol |

i certainy dont feel i am aloof or ahead of myself. i dont run other women down or mock them. i just dont act like the women i have heard stories about.

Well, I have a bit of a dilemma myself, in that the current objection of my affection is an "untouchable" for a number of reasons.
Not sure if he is aware that I have a huge gooey soft spot for him, however, it is apparent to those who know me well.
Nothing will happen, however, it is good to have wishes and dreams.

There have been many times in the last few years that I have felt like this, but now I have come to realise that if the men I see only think I'm 'amazing' to shag ,even if I have wanted more then they are the ones that are not worth it, not me. I am happy with having fun and friends right now and enjoying it with no expectations.... and if someone special happens to come along then great , but I'm not actively seeking him. |
