My hands are really suffering from all the washing. What are you all using to keep them sort and comfortable?

I was using hemp hand cream but my new favourite is Liz Earle hand repair bergamot and basil it's really comforting and soothing.

Mine are awful, and don't get me started on my nails!

I swear by rubbing almond oil into the cuticles, slathering in hand cream & then popping them into cotton gloves overnight. X

I got hemp cream the bigger tube for Christmas so it will take me a while to get through it.. I don't like strong smelling ones but would love to find one smelling of lemon with quite rich, buttery texture. Is there such a thing?

Old fashioned ways are best. Where did you get the gloves from?

Funny really. I’ve worked all way through This pandemic delivering.

Pretty much used gallons of sanitizer in the last year..

I used to have quite dry tough hands. Hard rough skin etc.

Hands now all soft and clean as I’ve ever seen them lol

Funny huh.

O' Keeffes Working Hands Hands Cream. My fiance has to wash his hands frequently and swears by it. I prefer the Aveeno oat based one (can't remember the exact name) but it really does help and isn't quite as thick feeling (to me anyway).

Manchester (she/her)

I like Aveeno, Soap and Glory Hand Food, and (particularly at night) the leftovers of the foot cream I use on my hands (way more moisturising than most of the hand creams I've found)

Slather any moisturiser on even olive oil - then put gloves on.

'Moisturiser ' is a marketing scam - you can buy a pot of Nivea or something similar and it does the same thing as the ones claiming miracles.

I have been using Hemp Hydrating Body Balm on my hands. It doesn’t smell of hemp but of the Shea Butter in it. I bought it in France and it was cheap for the size - manufacturer is www.orange creatives.eu (the shop I bought it from is Dutch owned). I haven’t seen any lemon ones.

Under the Duvet

At the beginning of the first lock down, way back in the mists of time, my hands were totally dried out and sore with all the extra washing and the santisers.

They seem to have gotten immune to the santisers, or I've just got used to having wrinkly old lady paws.

Also I use a load of coco butter oil in my bath every night and I think that helps too.

Never been a fan of the "claggy" feeling of commercial hand creams.

I find rubbing mine on my cock every night keeps them moist.

Aveeno in our house, although I quickly stopped washing my hands with both of the children everytime. We use simple soap bars and all our hands are soft but not sore x

Boots or Superdrug, but they'll be cheaper in your local chemist. X

L'occitaine Shea butter hand cream. Margaret Dabbs does serum and hand creams now, though feet are her soecialism. Would you be surprised if I said QVC sold it

Aveeno moisturiser. I put it on my hands just before bed though as I find it sets better while I'm sleeping rather than during the day
