I agree, when they are combining both covid and influenza deaths to increase fear and impose more restrictions on us. The media are constantly broadcasting bias statistics that are incorrect. The level of critical thinking is next to zero for some people, they just follow without thinking for themselves or looking for information from other sources besides the corrupt cdc and one track bbc |

From what I've seen the numbers are publish togther in a report but are shown seperatly. They are not treating flu and covid deaths together. You can seen the numbers for each seperatly. |

No problem to apply some scepticism for media reports although there are a lot of interviews on radio 4 with people who really know their stuff.
Is it also ok to be sceptical of your conclusions too, seeing as you’re just scrabbling for evidence to fit in with your own verdict - “I want a shag literally more than anything” ? |

Both direct and indirect consequences of the lockdowns far outweigh the number of deaths (Not that the number of deaths matter as the test is that inaccurate) or the fact that 99% of people recover with no issues.
The facts speak for themselves. Domestic violence, child abuse, suicides, no access to treatments, lack of schooling and stress for the younger generation, family division ect. when the vulnerable can simply continue to isolate and let the world crack on.
This isn't the place for political discussions as we are all unaware of what people have seen or experienced first hand as a result of covid.
Guess this rooms dead now time to start a new one |

But it does ebb and flow. Like any emotion, if you refuse to feed it it'll die down.
