What’s good in your life right now
Jump to: Newest in thread
There’s an awful lot of negativity about, but what’s good about your life right now.
I’m looking out the window at the blackbirds, the pigeons, the robins, sparrows, chaffinches and blue tits in the garden that paint the world’s canvass with their comings and goings.
I appreciate there’s lots of hardship out there but try hard to find something that’s good in your life. Remember there’s a smile fighting to get out. |

My kids above all! Then my amazing boyfriend and my friends. The technology that allows me to stay in touch with my loved ones. Oh and my succulents. Crazy plant lady here and I proudly admit it haha x |

To be honest I'm loving working from home and working on projects that have been in the back burner, missing sexy meets though |

No two hour commute to work. Saving more through less wear and tear on car, £350 worth of diesel etc. Per month
Having flexible working so now work to task and not “presentism”, I seem to have more time, so able to redecorate/refurbish the house room by room, looking forward to the spring to sort out the garden.
Having time to plot out the next 5 years of life’s journey and saving like mad for it. Feel genuinely positive, having had family move in with me so I can keep an eye on them. Miss so very much, but I am also grateful for what I have. |

Right now I am enjoying the peace as my kids are being quiet for the first time today as they are currently eating their lunch. Despite the fact that I put the wrong type of cheese on my daughter's crackers and didn't put sweetcorn in my sons tuna wrap |

I am lucky, I can work from home so economically things have got better for me. However money isn’t everything so moving the oldies in with me made sense to limit their exposure and benefit from the economy of scale
There is so much that I miss, however that cannot be changed, so as hard as it is, I need to get on with what I can and plan for a time when life gets back to whatever the “new normal” will be. Planning and doing are positives for me in my life, so I focus on those. |

Enjoying looking at all the snow. It's very pretty and can't beat a good snow shower (I won't tomorrow though when I'm travelling in it, but that's another day)
Also pleased that all my family are healthy. |

I’d say the profile pic suggests a great commitment to home schooling |

"I’m glad that now we have another national lockdown we are no longer living in unprecedented times. "
. I was getting a bit tired of being told that. I was also getting fed up of being told we were witnessing history. Of course we are, we witness it every day of our life |

"My family and D.
Sadly there's not much goodness around at the moment..
There could be so much more goodness if people just opened their minds.
Wishing you all the best for 2021.
Jo.Xx "
You are so nice. He’s ok as well I suppose. |

"I like not being at work
Obviously it's financial fuckery but I feel much better not being surrounded by toxic cunts
"
The mere phrase toxic cunts makes me smile. Well the thought of telling someone that they are one appeals. |

So many beautiful birds to look at, Fiddles.. lucky man you are
Home life and work is a bit up in the air just now, but I'm still counting blessings of health and some job security. Not to mention some really lovely people to help me get through x |

Right now this minute Ian Dury is just one of my reasons to be cheerful - he's apparently partial to my abracadabra as I type.
Last year was possibly one of the worst I have known (and not just for the reasons you might think) but I'm looking forward with optimism and positivity as the path of 2021 opens up before me.
Oh and Ian has gone off me quick as he's just talked of arseholes, bastards, fucking c*nts and pricks |

The sun was shining today. And musing on my 5 yr plan possibly becoming a 1.5 yr plan now that disruption to a childs schooling could be a laughable concern. Thinking of all the possibilities. |

There are loads of good things in my life. I have my health, food, shelter, my family, my outdoors job that isn't affected by covid restrictions. My favouritest thing at the moment is Audible. I've 'read' so many books over the last year and I can speak to people and pretend I'm very worldly, interesting and intellectual. |

I have a partner who loves and supports me. Children who are taking all the chaos in their stride. A great group of online gaming mums to play with! Means this next lock down is looking a lot more bearable than the last one! |

She’s been the best person for me wish I’d met her a long time ago...but then I wouldn’t have the kids I have who make me laugh with their crazy ways!
