I do want to go and see it

My only worry is that I won't enjoy it as much as the last film due to the absence of Mr Ledgers portrayal of 'The Joker'

It was that more than anything or anyone that made the last film for me.

(Reuters) - A masked gunman shot dead 10 people and wounded 30 to 40 others at a showing of new Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" at a movie theatre in the U.S. city of Denver, local radio station KOA reported on Friday, citing witnesses.

The radio station said a figure in a gas mask had opened fire at the showing in a mall in the suburb of Aurora and set off a smoke or tear gas bomb. It said initial police estimates were of 30-40 injured

Just got back from seeing the film and loved it.

Won't spoil it for anyone but lil confused as Nolan has always said no more Batman films and he would end it so no one could carry on and ruin it.

Why introduce such a huge character then?

Nolan wanted to finish the story, did he really mean that all 3 films are one big story and that a new story could be possible.

I'm hating that the studios want to reboot Batman asap cuz of the success of the Avengers and that DC wants to do the same and do a Justice League.

They have everything they need without rebooting.

I really liked dark knight rises, I thought it was very well written and a better film that dark knight..

Don't get me wrong Heath ledger rip, was the most iconic joker ever but for me to see batman going toe toes toe with the batman was immense...

To see Anne Hathaway in the sexy Catwoman outfit was ummmmmmm

I think overal Nolan has done a fantastic job of all 3 films, and I am looking forward to his reboot of superman as well,

Indie movies are amazin, so are the iron man films and the two trilogies of star wars

I love dark knight ones but think trilogies an stuff cant be compared like i adore original batman with keaton them two were amazin but different to the new ones

Only reason studio wants to reboot asap is cuz of The Avengers.

I personally dont see a point in rebooting esp with the Dark knight rises ending.

Seeing Superman and Batman is the same film would be amazing but they need to get it right.

From seeing the comic-con and cinema trailers of Man of Steel, they seem to be going same way a Batman and making it realistic as possible, basically what would Superman be like in todays world.

I loved The Dark Knight Rises. For a trilogy that strove to portray a 'What if the Batman existed in the real world?', I think it ended the best possible way.

That said, the problem with basing a superhero film in 'the real world', is that there was no room in this world for a Superman, or Green Lanterns, or other residents of the DCU. So in that sense, they'll need to do something to create a cinematic universe where such characters can coexist.

well from the trailer the man of steel is looking darker

superman returns was a joke of a movie nothing against the guy playing superman / clark kent he was really good but the director should hang his head in shame

I liked it a lot. I agree that Brandon Routh did a very good job of filling Christopher Reeves' boots.

Not 'as' good, of course though.

But I had no problem with Bryan Singer's take on it. Just a shame that he abandoned the X-Men series to do it. Last Stand could have been so much better than the utter mess that we got
