Traditionally Christmas decorations come down on 12th Night/Epiphany (6th Jan)
There is a lesser known tradition that they stay up until Candlemas (2nd Feb)
Anyone with outdoor Christmas lights keep them there until 2nd February to lighten up the gloom of lockdown January. |

I was gonna do this anyways but I’m glad others are feeling it too.
Just as it makes me smile when I leave the house in the dark mornings and when I get home at night.

It’d be great if people would leave their lights up. My neighbour took theirs down yesterday and I do miss them. Such a cheerful little glow in the dark. |
