This is an observation not a criticism, but can anybody tell why there are so many couples that have this on there profile. Is it the new fad? Like fitbits or nutri bullets, or is it the fear of missing out on something, has lock down awaken the curious gene in men?

I’m all ears

Sexuality isn't a fad, you may just see it more as society is becoming more accepting so people are more likely to be honest about who they are

Yeah my bisexuality is just a fad. A fifty year fad that I denied for 40 odd years

It may not be criticism, but it is a very simplistic and dismissive observation

Bisexuality a fad like nutribullets!! Brilliant.

Could be another box to tick to increase the possibility of a shag. Could be the first steps into trying something they are attracted to.

Yeah definite fad here. Were just so short of offers we need to expand the pool.

In reality, it's just us being open and honest about our pan sexuality. Mr was playing with the guys way before meeting the Mrs

Yeah I just pretend to be Bi to fit in.

Especially in the late 80's with my highly religious Caribbean dad and highly closed off mum.

Being Bi is so much easier

Delightful Bliss

Maybe just a realisation that they don't have to hide their sexual curiosity and automatically tick the straight box after all

It's definitely not a fad, at least not for everyone. I've known I'm bi for almost 15 years.

But I'm pretty sure some of my family hoped it was a passing phase

It's definitely not a fad, though I do know some people, especially women, pretend to be bi curious to please their man. I've been the '3rd person' in this scenario a couple of times and it wasn't fun or fair on me.

I've known I'm bi from a very young age.

Certainly not a fad, it is becoming more accepted and therefore more people feel comfortable admitting it.

This is an observation not a criticism, but can anyone tell me why someone should equate someone’s sexuality to a fad like Fitbits or Nutri-Bullets?

I’m all ears.
