Unless it is caused by a thrombosis or has other serious health problems the NHS consider varicose veins a cosmetic problem.
If they are just aching then buy some surgical stockings or flight socks - the compression helps relieve any pain. |

Sit with your legs up. Wear compression socks.
Read NHS online help.
Continue to try to see your doctor.

If anyone knows anything please message me
Thank you"

My brother has got them badly. Get them treated at the earliest opportunity. He's had three operations that I know about, but they can only do it a certain number of times. Regular walking is how he deals with them now. |

My partner has been troubled by these for years, obviously worse during pregnancy. NHS kind of won't do anything while your pregnant but won't do anything when your no as they are not so bad.
Very frustrating
My partner went to the hospital over a year ago with a swollen shin slightly discoloured. After sitting in hospital for 2 days and being sent home twice she was rushed to hospital and they found clots in her thigh belly and both lungs.
More needs to be done about this problem not just shrugged off |

Get checked out for PAD, the disease that affects the arteries. Get a blood pressure reading of the arms and legs, using this simple test can see what if any difference is there: The bigger the difference the more harder the blood is getting to the feet and back.
Fungal nail infection, cold feet, hair loss in the lower legs and things that don't seem to get better are easy to over look as being related. ED can be cause by clogged arteries.
Using the NHS website and joined up thinking might get you the all important treatment, before things get worse.
GPS only see the general picture, specialists tend not to stray into neighbouring disciplines. Who would have thought that IBS can also cause the bladder to join the party and become a tad sensitive too?
