She's always worked every single nye. She was in hospital for the entire day so we've both been exhausted but she asked to stay up and watch the fireworks. I've never cared for new years eve but for tonight I could see my mum forget herself for a few minutes and appreciate the moment as if she was a child again. It's bittersweet but I'll never forget this day x |

For sure... I don't think we have been as emotionally connected as we have been these past few months. I just hope that she leaves us knowing that I love her dearly even though it's never been expressed and every moment I live will be inspired by her |

I lost my mum 3 year ago and it still never leaves me. Sorry for being morbid. It's times like this that you miss them the most. Bless her |

It's going to be bittersweet for many thousands this year. New year is especially sentimental for most but this year it will be extra meaningful. Let's hope that we can all learn to love each other in every moment that we have on this planet. |
