"Lovely voice , gorgeous woman

This was the first thing me and my family commented on as soon as we saw her
Bra ill fitting, trousers were too tight at the waist, all lumps and bumps round her tum, then at certain angles, a camel toe
My daughter surmised that due to Covid she had had to dress herself. |

Not usually one to judge on dress....but I passed comment on her wearing Noddy Holder's hand-me-downs! |

If you are referring to me, I wasn't having a go at the lady herself. I don't know anything about her.
I am more than content with my body and looks ( and I'm far older than her) I was merely stating an opinion.
Whatever size/shape or other anyone is makes no difference to me. However if I were appearing on National TV, I would ensure my clothes fitted! |

You are dead right, she is beautiful. Lumps and bumps are beautiful, confidence is key.
...And 'Falling' is a great song, often on a sex playlist!!! |

"Seemed odd to me to have an American sing in new years eve and then the first song of 2021 to be a song about New York...
" Just about summed up the crazy year that was 2020 |

"Why anyone would’ve tuned into anything but Jools Holland’s hootenanny is beyond me...
I’m assuming she’s still crowing on about New York."
I completely agree, I switched over for Alicia but within 2 minutes I was back with Jools. A brilliant show, perfect for a strange new year. |

Lots of comments about her clothing and lumps and bumps. But this is what tv should promote to young women. That it's normal to have lumps and bumps, to have clothes that don't fit perfectly. Did you notice she stopped wearing make up? TV should show us what a normal woman looks like. And if it's ok for a multi award winning artist to come on tv and do what she does best then it's time young women stop being so hard on themselves. It's ok! |

So confused by the badly fitting bra comments. She's not even wearing a bra, just some sort of diamanté bikini top type thing which is obviously never going to fit and support like a proper bra. I think she looks hot and I admire her for her brave fashion choices and rejection of the pressure to wear make up. As a performer she must have spent so much of her life dressing for other people and still being criticised no matter what so I can't blame her for deciding to just do what she wants. Good on her I say. |

At the risk of bucking the the trend and getting flamed, I did not like this performance at all
I think it did not fit with the context of a count down or the end of the year at all
She is very talented, adorable, and has an amazing catalogue of songs
It really just did not fir for me last night
Bring in the shit storm...... |

It's hardly bucking the trend. There's been numerous news articles about people disliking the performance or the choice of her as the artist. |

Wow, I was stunned by her singing, her lovely smile and her performance - Period.
Her smile came across as offering hope in these somewhat challenging times, and she looked awesome.I thought she represented girl power, beauty and femininity combined and as such was an inspiration.
Of course, people can have different opinions on the clothes she was wearing, her make-up (very little) but it sounds a bit daft (envious even?) to criticise her natural beauty. |

Well I’m American and and I’m not far away from you so hunt me!
For this thread these judgements I’m seeing is absurd. But then again not to many folks living in reality. Last time I checked she was the one on tv, she’s the famous one. So it actually doesn’t matter if you don’t like what she’s wearing or how she looks. Some things will never change. Out here I know the minute you say something about someone they’re offended, yet people continue doing what they don’t want or would not accept done to them. |

FWIW, I was joking
And the joke was aimed at the mindset of Daily Mail readers as opposed to Americans (or foxes)
You can tell you are American though, your profile states you are currently 200+ miles away, yet you regard that as 'not too far away' |

That’s right American and I specifically said it’s not to far because easy for people to run the dick suckers on a website on social media site.
And again if you don’t want me to say anything state what you really mean. I’m American so when you refer to Americans that includes me me genius! Ha! Some people! Lol what a joke! |
