TOTP (final rant of 2020 before I become less grumpy!)

Ok, so I know I'm getting old, but I thought I'd brave it and check out the Xmas edition of TOTP that's on BBC1 now. I'd like to think I've got a varied taste in music and my Amazon playlist pretty much covers everything from 1960's to maybe the odd early 2010's tune.

I wish I'd stuck to Tipping Point, as my ears are now bleeding! Will old codgers attending school reunions in 2050 really be reminiscing about this crap?!

I would at a school and I'm DJ for all the school Discos, I can tell you that it's rare that the kids have any interest in songs from the last 10 years unless it's in the current chart. They are more likely to ask for stuff 20 years old than 2 years old.

I love it when our eldest goes on about some new “cool” song with an awesome tag line or riff

Then I point out all the good bits are from other songs leaving the shite. Or the whole song is a work over.

Talentless Twats..
