Hi, I know it won't be for a while but thinking of visiting a club dressed.
Are all of the girls really passable and shaved etc?
It's all quite scary but integuing at the same time.

Depends on which club you go to. I've been to clubs with the whole range of people.
Maybe ask before you go or look at club reviews. Maybe pick a tv night as people should be more welcoming.  |

Variety is the main thing you'll notice. I usually go to The Attic in Derby, but on general nights, rather than the TG events. I prefer the inclusivity of it all.
There I've seen every stage of trans that you can imagine from Tgirls whom you'd never know had anything extra, to the other end of the scale. No one bats an eyelid either way. By and large everyone is treated with dignity.
There will be the odd person who passive aggressively calls you 'mate' and who obviously didn't get anything from Santa as a result.
Some girls are shaven in full, others in visible places and again, no one really bats an eyelid.
As long as you are respectful of others in a club, you generally receive the same back. Although I can't speak for everyone, I've never been made to feel less than welcome or valued and no one expects me to use the 2nd class bogs (the gents), either.
Even if people don't want to play with you, they'll still chat happily and be friendly.
The only thing to watch out for are guys who lurk until no one is looking and then ask if you want to play, or wait until they've asked every woman with a pulse and been turned down and then try to 'settle' on you.
Get yourself to a club when you can. You'll love it.  |

I second Tina, my gf and I go to bi night on a Saturday at Chams in Newport, you see everything from guys in lingerie to full on Tgirls and everyone is friendly. Some of our best friends in the scene we've met there regardless of how they dress! Dive in, be confident and remember that clubs are very different to fab and everyone is there for fun and laughter!  |

Tina has said it all perfectly, especially with the clowns that call you ‘mate’ and the lurkers.
Some clubs you can change inside the venue like Club Play (used to be Club SX) in Blackpool or Gatehouse in Bolton. Both of these clubs actively encourage the Trans community to attend and the patrons won’t give you any hassle.
Don’t hesitate would be my advice, when the clubs reopen. It can be nerve wracking attending on your own and no guarantee that you’re in for a great evening either ....but who knows it could be one of the best nights of your life |

Best place in the midlands I know of is the greenhouse sauna. Tgirl night is every Friday. It’s cheap to get in and plenty of men interested in the girls.
Lovely changing room for girls only, complete with lockers and illuminated mirrors.
The girls are friendly and often will help you if you ask.
It has a swimming pool with a waterfall and a cave behind the water. Jacuzzi. Steam room. Cinemas, glory holes and lots of private playrooms.
You can get a decent meal and soft drinks. Take your own alcohol.
You say you like older men: plenty of them too!

Not sure whether you mean a play club, or a night club like pink punters.
Either way you will see a range from girls you will struggle to read as trans through to unshaven girls. |

Pink punters is probably the best place for your first ever night out if you want to go out as a dresser as it is extremely safe there and draws a huge and varied bunch of trans/dressers and regular folk too unless you want a 'fun' night out and then you'd be looking at swingers clubs.
SX and the like are great for the more sexually adventurous  |

I've been to quite a few clubs and you always get a good mix of girls on t girl events. The gatehouse in Bolton is my favourite, it's a small club and everyone is so friendly. T girls are welcome at any of the events. |
