We returned a coat for our daughter today due to lack of the aforementioned growing room. I'll be damned if I'm spending £35 on a coat that won't see us through till Easter at least! I've got the annoyance of a small first born and a beast of a second child... so hand me downs don't work... they both wear pretty much the same size, despite being 2 years apart "You've reminded me that I stashed some of Child A's coats in the spare wardrobe. We have the same problem though - he was (is) short. He's 18 now and 5ft 6. Child B is 3 (4 in Feb) but already as tall as him when he was about 5. She takes after Mr-I'm-Extremely-Tall-And-Slim KC. Child A's Dad was somewhat smaller | |||

That was in my fitter days. I think nowadays I'd just have to squat at the side of the tarmac and ignore the horrified looks! I did manage to wee behind a wall in the middle of the Mallorcan countryside last year. It doesn't happen often that I can't hold on till the services.
