Always brings a tear to my eye. If I’m out, my friends know I disappear just before midnight for my own quiet time and I’ll venture back about 15 minutes later. If home, I just let it flow, this year I will try and hide it until the lad has gone to bed. It’s good to remember those that have past

I think we're doing nearly what we always do. Getting food (takeaway this year instead of restaurant) then watching crappy TV/films and going to bed when we feel like it. Last NYE we had a family day out at Eureka, an early-ish tapas dinner and home by 8pm. Rock n roll

I think it’s supposed to be a man through the door first, back in the day carrying a lump of coal and other provisions. I remember my uncle doing this as a kid at my nanna’s house.
