Did have Hunters, really don't rate them. Dunlop blizzards for me now! Super comfortable and less than half the price. My Hunters split and their welly socks have the seam right on the heel
However... all my wellies are for dog walks, not shagging. |

Same here, Dunlop blizzards all the way. The last pair of hunters I had only lasted about 5 minutes.
Mr by virtue of his work spends most of his time in wellies and has a pair for every occasion. If it’s farmers day on the local shoot his le chameau’s are allowed out, walking the dogs he rates muck boots, general working its Dunlop safety wellies. |

"Cheap and cheerful wellies here. Wellies are wellies "
I walk miles in all weathers with mine daily so the cheap and cheerful ones are not pratical. I have worn Joules wellies for years but now want to buy the Dunlop ones after reading about them here. |

Look into Le Chameau, it’s the only brand farmers, rural workers etc use. Will last forever and look great at same time |

I agree, I’ve got Aigle wellies and they’ve lasted for years, and they are comfy too.
Cheap and cheerful normally last about 1 dog walk. |

I looked into Aigle and Chameau, but just couldn't being myself to spend that much on wellies. Granted, if you spend all day in them.
Dunlop blizzards were £35 delivered, and my feet that are ALWAYS cold in wellies are yet to be frozen! Also, they have a nice squishy top |

I'm not a lover of Hunters sure the quality is not what it used to be. My current Wellington's are Aigle ones and I've had them about 8 years and they've been well used. And I have no glam photos of me in them |

The le chameau ones with neoprene in them make all the difference - never, ever cold! |

I’ve had a pair of Aigle wellies for about the same length of time and they’re still perfect. They get used a lot for long dog walks, and sometimes even without the beast.
Mind you, the ‘emergency’ winter wellies in the car are a pair of Hunters I bought in 1995 and they’re still going strong. Standards must have slipped somewhere along the way.
I’m sure everyone will be pleased to know there are no glam photos of me in either pair. |

I do quite a bit of work on a friend's farm and trying to look trendy I bought some Hunters. They didn't last long, so I bought some cheap Dunlop Acifort wellies three years ago and they're still going strong. |

Have used Hunter but expensive when you put a hole in them after a couple of weeks.
Wore Argyll's for many years but would always split along a seam near the toes.
Now wear woodland. Warm comfy and last. I am in them every day this time of year though. |

"I believe Hunters are now manufactured in China, so definitely aren’t the quality they were when made in the UK. Unfortunately the prices haven’t dropped as much as the quality. "
Indeed they are. Ive got the original workers ones theyre about 8 year old but solid. The new ones are shite |

"I've got some old Hunter Wellies - I've had them for years.
They're far from sexy though- they're covered in mud "
Then clean them! Or ask on here for some guy to lick them clean- I bet it’s a kink? |

I remember fancying a pair to go to this outdoor festival, saw the price tag and was like nahhh, so I bought hunter socks and a cheap pair of wellies and folded the socks over the top of the wellies |
