Pretty sure there are just as many female idiots than there are male just in a different way. Men tend to be seen to do the stupid physical stuff like you see on lad bible and such like. Women do stupid shit but don’t film it lol. |

Sorry T, I couldn't resist.
I think that men have been granted more opportunities to nurture, develop and then showcase their intelligence and stupidity throughout history - access to education, networking, money to afford study, the bias of history in favour of men and their great achievements and failures...
I think that the majority of people are down the middle in all honesty, men don't fall in to one of those camps more than women do, it's just more publically documented when they do. Even now, men find some types of humour more comical (thinking about those daft Americans who injure themselves) so they are more likely to copycat that. Women can be not particularly intelligent but not going to do something and then paste it all over social media. |

I think historically men have just been thrust more into the spotlight than women for things whether that is stupid or geniusy actions. Women also quietly get on with being equally clever or stupid but it doesnt have quite the same newsworthy pull. I think that is changing a bit more recently though and we are allowed to sing a womans praises. I read that people get their intelligence from their Momma so nature makes sure we are all equally important. |

Men have been the risk takers and killing themselves in pursuit of 'I wonder what would happen if I .....', Whereas women won't bet the farm on the unknown, they are much more cautious of the unknown and unnecessary risk. |

It's all subjective I guess. What kind of intelligence are talking about? Academic? Emotional? Or just knowing a lot of stuff about stuff.
Also what is your perception of it? We may have different expectations of it or see it on different levels.
I have all of that see. I am academic and know a lot about a lot of stuff. I don't always portray it though because I can't be arsed and it is annoying when people do that.
So I guess you are asking about intelligence mixed with certain personality traits.....
I would not like to say, how long is a piece of string??? I guess it is immeasurable |

An idiot is a person of low intelligence but a genius is more than a person of high intelligence.
I'd say i'm happy enough with evidence that suggests there is no difference in levels of intelligence between the sexes. |

An individual could be a genius in their chosen talent but an idiot in so many other ways, so I’d say we all have a bit of both and therefore no gender is either wise nor more idiotic than the other |
