I just wanted to know what things attract you to someone's profile.
If you come across a profile, what makes you click on it?
How do you usually find someone's profile (through the forums or through search?)

I look at all profiles.
The piunt I click off it can be quick followed by a delete message. Or I read everything and look at all the pics and veris. |

Serious answer: used to use the search but find myself looking at profiles from the forum and it's usually a teasing pic or fishnets which I'm really into.

Profile picture in all honesty is the first thing you see. That little thumbnail has a lot riding on it.
Other than that though, for me it's mostly how they sound. What they write. About how they come across. |

Interesting names also help. If it's something beyond the run of the mill crude puns etc, I can't help but be intrigued enough to see what the rest of the profile sounds like. I guess it's a question of what's up top rather than just in the nethers |

Humour is always a win. There's a reason it's a truism that being funny is attractive in its own right. Also helps if the person is easy on the eye as well. |

Local searches mainly
I will look if a forum posts interests me too - or makes me chuckle
Most fabbed rarely interest me - although I do have a daily mooch in there too

Eye-catching profile pic. If there's a thousand photos of a willy, or even one down the eye of the spitting snake, then nahhhh. I like classy, funny or alluring photos.
Other instant writeoffs: no profile text. Other women in single male photos. Immature or bigheaded profile text. Statuses looking for meets. |

It's usually something they've said that'd catch my eye. Whether in a message, update or on the forum. I'm delighted if I check the profile and also like what's said on there and the pictures. |

Depends on my mood, if i'm in pure horn mode then the picture first.
If i'm browsing for people that fit my likes then headline and profile text first, followed by pictures.
And of course forum posts and status updates can often catch the eye too. |

I look who's fabbed/looked/winked or messaged us. Also use the who's near and I'll often have a nose when I'm in the forums. Hubby is visual so he will usually be drawn in through profile or pics uploaded.

It's either something they've said on a thread and/or their profile picture.
(Or if they've winked, fabbed or messaged of course, but I'm assuming you meant when do I initiate without any prior direct contact). |
