With over half the year now passed (ffs) how is your 2012 going so far?

Decided in December I wanted to live in a city, after 20 years in a really remote part of the Highlands.
Job opportunity came up a few weeks ago.
Half my house is halfway down the A9 now.
Tomorrow, I fly to Bristol.
on Thursday, I move into a new flat in the gay area.
Sooooo excited.
Be great news for my love life but murder on my liver lol |

Been an odd an interesting year. Unexpected break up at the start was more than a slight kick in the bollocks, the new (and equally unexpected) lady really is special though. Upshot of the break up is I live in a town I hate and can;t afford to leave. I've managed a PB for a half marathon but have been injured since so no running or cycling meaning that most of my plans for the year on that front are on ice. If it wasn't for the new g/f I'd say 3/10 and that would be being generous.
Swinging wise it's been ace. The few months of being that rare commodity a single man that can accomodate was fantastic, and since mweeting the new G/f I've spent 3 months getting more and more involved in London's Kink scene Happy days 9/10. |

definately better than last year and the year before.
in fact those two years were so bad, it has left me with a feeling of dread that something bad is about to happen any time soon.
half of me thinks 'at last things are going the right way' and then the other half worries that there is something just waiting in the wings to bring me down to earth with a bang |

New home new job discovering the wonderful world of swinging good news
New job means long hours and travelling new home more costly than the last so no time and not a lot of money to explore wonderful world of swinging or any other aspect of my life bad news
Going to spend the next six months making time to have more fun more meets and my first meet from fab (about time seeing as I've been a member for nearly six months) lol(yes that is an invitation for offers)    |

Work 5/10, need a bigger challenge
