Surgeons want to protect their job title to prevent foot, cosmetic and, presumably, tree surgeons from using the word. Are people increasingly sensitive about job titles?

I have one of the most abused titles of the lot - I'm an engineer (chartered too) with years of training - and anyone can call themselves engineer - as in washing machine etc - lol
