Iconic films you have never seen...

Think of this as a semi confessional thread....lol

Okay... my name is Fabio... and I have never seen shawshank redemption! I know, I heard the gasp from here! Lol

There are other iconic films I have never seen..titanic, I only made it thru 30 minutes of the first LOTR movie and didn’t bother with the rest...

I only got round to watching elf the other day... it was really good I’ll admit...... lol

Anyway.... anyone else want to confess to not watching any movies......

Titanic for me also. Everyone else goes "What?!? That's a classic!". To be honest the subject matter does not feel to me as being entertainment.

Avatar and gone with the wind are way too long anyway....gone is actually not that good anyway! Dirty dancing if refuse to watch out of principle as it’s my sisters favourite movie lol....

As far as classics go, I've not seen Gone with the Wind, or Citizen Kane. Only watched Casablanca for the first time over the weekend.

See... I think you have be a type of person to watch those types of films... the original Star Wars might be worth a watch but I am not shocked...

Haven't seen any of those either - although Gone With The Wind has never appealed the other two really should be watched...in fact don't think I've seen many Bogey films so add The African Queen, The Maltese Falcon to that

Also despite having a box set of his films I've only seen Psycho, The Birds and Frenzy of Hitchcock's

Saving private Ryan I would give a go.... if you are squeamish, as good as the first scene is, skip it and it doesn’t take away from the premise

I was similar with Titanic - was so sick of the hype over it I refused to watch and only did so because months later I was stuck on a transatlantic flight back in the days when films were shown on overhead TV's (so it was either watch it or stare at the back of the seat in front of me for three hours)...was actually pleasantly surprised

Yeah, I'll get round to Citizen Kane eventually. I'm the same as you with GWTW - doesn't appeal much.

I do enjoy watching a classic, but got to be in the right mood for it... which is rarer and rarer.

Animated one I have a thing about not watching children’s films as an adult. Although funnily enough Willy Wonka and the Railway Children are exceptions to that rule
