I've just binge watched Brigerton today. I love a good period drama.

I am living in the wrong era such are my romantic notions!

Does anyone have any other recommendations for my viewing pleasure?

Is Bridgerton any good? I do want to give it a go because the writers are awesome buuut I'm worried it might just a period porno. I like my period dramas with hints of sex, nothing too graphic.

I didn't think it was overly sexual it wasn't graphic. There's lots of eye candy though!

I found that really hard to get into.

Maybe need to revisit it sometime.

It’s really worth persevering - and the film was so lovely x

As you mention revisit ... how about Brideshead Revisited ? It’s really old though so might be cardboard sets

That’s what I did for Christmas Day as I was on my own. Just watched the first episode of Black Narcissus on BBC 1 tonight - 2nd episode tomorrow - that’s quite good.

Chester

Would The Crown count as a period drama of sorts? The early seasons at least? I know it's on the fence of being non fiction, historical drama. But probably too much of a tangent
