Has anyone seen this documentary on Netflix?
It is about how trans people are portrayed on screen and how that reflects in their portrayal in society
It is a hard watch, but compelling viewing
It certainly makes you think and reflect (and opens your eyes)

For me, it was a penny drop moment
It's only when they start mentioning characters / showing clips that you realise just how awfully trans folk have been depicted over time |

Most really have, even if on the surface it all seems well its usually behind the scenes that you don't see how bad it has been for something that is not their fault at all.
Society has a lot to answer for but not just in this field. |
