Absent Family, Friends and Colleagues...

It's an emotionally charged time of year, especially under these challenging times.

I raise a glass to:

My dad who passed Christmas 2 years ago

The guy I was best man for who passed

Christmas 2 years ago

Their seat may be empty but the memories are full...

Had another Christmas suicide this week ... a mere child tbh not a great time of the year here

Raise a glass, an ear, a helping hand to anyone that needs it ...

My little guy who never made it past 2 days old & would have been a teenager this coming spring. You're never quote the same after that & Gemma is somehow part of my escape mechanism that keeps me sane & going when times are tough. If you can fight back from that kinda low, you can do anything.

I'd like to raise a glass to all those who are missing someone this festive season, and all those who haven't been able to celebrate their Christmas for whatever reason.

But I'd also like everyone to raise their glasses to PhoenixRising for starting this thread and for showing everyone who has popped in to share their stories that they do matter, they have a voice and that there is someone to talk to if they need it.

Phoenix, you're a lovely man, a great friend and even through your own sadness over your lost loved ones you've shown once again that there are some lovely people to be found on here and you're one of them.
