Then say what you want to say. If you don't know what to say then you should be questioning why you are writing to them. My advice is make it friendly and not sexual in any way. |

To be honest OP, there's no surefire way to get a reply on every first message you send as everyone is different.
As others have mentioned above, be polite, tell them what you're looking for and make sure you read their profile to ensure you're a good fit for them. Good luck and don't get too down if you don't always get a reply  |

Don't get hung up on the best first message. Go with the flow, based on who you are in touch with and your feelings at the time. Light humour can be fine. You've filtered people who are looking potentially for someone like you, so you have some things in common.
Obviously due to the virus, expressions of meeting very soon are best avoided. |
