A lot of hate for Coldplay on here, I do approve. I can’t be doing with them and more specifically Chris Martin. Others I’m not keen on are:
The Darkness
30 seconds to Mars
Mumford and sons
Any manufactured band who pretend to be cool, edgy, street etc

I kind of don’t get The Beatles, just don’t fully ‘get’ the love for them. I appreciate some of their songs for sure, but considering how huge they were, they don’t wow me.
And most modern chart music is just a mystery to me |

Mumford and Sons too!
Oh and Elbow, I think the both of those are too middle of the road / flat. Creative I’m sure but not engaging, for me. |

Oh blimey I'd forgotten The Darkness - never did see the appeal of them in the slightest and thank god their star fell just as quickly as it rose.
As for Coldplay, in fairness their first couple of albums weren't bad but once they hit stadium tour level they just came across as U2-lite to me and fairly bland and boring with it |

"Boy band" Beatles don't do a great deal for me - it's not awful but not exciting either - but once they moved on to the likes of Revolver and Rubber Soul is where they really came into their own for me |

"The Beatles
One Direction
Any song where you can't actually hear the words being "sung" or rapped... that's just noise. "
Thank god someone else thinks the Beatles were shite! Thank you BB Racer x |
