Same here and a lot quicker to do
OP I do know what you mean, if I don’t get that I know I’m not going to like wrapping paper, but just hate it when it all of a sudden stops and you get a tiny tear  |

Bhuybasi and BBracer get it  . When you get that perfect twirl after some rubbish scrapey, straightened attempts  . I'm chasing that high the whole rest of the year  ! |

It is why you cannot buy cheap paper as the thrill comes to an abrupt end a quarter of the way down.

It's certainly a pleasure but as others have pointed out one liable to be ruined by the snag and crease...or worse still it snagging and having to actually "cut" the last few inches and ending up with that cut look rather than a clean one.
Definitely up there with popping bubble wrap and flicking through freshly opened post-it notes whilst inhaling through your nose though |
