This year has been fucked up (understatement ) BUT...
What is your personal highlight?
Whatever it is - something big and national, something sexual, an act of kindness, something personal, an achievement of yours or someone else's or just simply something that made you smile!!!
Lets find a positive in this mire of madness... |

For me, finally admitting my sexual desires to my Hubby, our relationship hitting an all new high after 17 wonderful years, and coming on here and meeting all you fancy people!
For my Hubby, this year has been exhausting, navigating a business through COVID in huge difficulty while still maintaining wages for all staff and keeping everyone safe! |

Well it didn't make me smile at the time, far from it, but...
Splitting from my ex. Broke my heart but was the right thing to do. Staying would have been akin to selling my soul.
And what has made me smile, laugh, cry and everything else.... my friends.
I'm truly blessed. |

What a lovely thread
For me it is having my son home for so long while his offices are closed
And I look after a little boy who went through pneumococcal meningitis, and was left with acquired brain damage, epilepsy and left side weakness.
His therapist came to assess him and told Mum that he is so happy and had an amazing bond with me, Mum was crying when she told me. That is certainly a highlight |

Honestly after coming out of a long term relationship in 2019 was knowing that I am strong enough to survive on my own and that I now know when the time is right I don’t need someone but I want them |

Ups and downs this year
Plus ... moved into a new house after waiting nearly a year for it to be built
Minus ... lost my canine bear friend of 14 1/2 years
Plus we both have our health ... and a new puppy

This year has definitely brought families closer together! And I believe in a lot of ways has brought the country together too! Those are brilliant highlights, thank you for sharing! |

I always say looking back, breaking up is always the best thing to do, because it always leads to something better. |

Seeing my Mama be allowed to have her fave non Grandchildren around her again when lockdown was lifted. She always says the boys (5year old twins and a 4 year old) keep her young..and they do... they've been so scared this year in case they killed Aunty...she gave them a hug recently.. they didnt leave her side for an hour |

For me it was reconnecting with my childhood sweetheart.... and as we leave 2020 I have serious plans in place with him.
Also I've been helping as a volunteer and met so many inspirational people. |

We got creative (via Zoom, parks etc) around birthdays and for just socialising generally. I've probably seen and spoke to my family more this year than normal ones, just not in person. |

Gosh what a difficult question.
Thinking very hard I think my highlights are
- a bit of a re-evaluation of what is needed (as opposed to just wanted).
- getting a new contract in May when the contract market was crumbling around my ears. And not only that but bloody loving it.
- purchasing a hot tub in March which has literally helped me stay sane as it gives me somewhere to go away from the 4 walls after work.
- realising just how self sufficient I can be. Even if I don’t love it.

Swingfest was pretty amazing for us, a great intro into clubs. No play obviously, but met some amazing people!
I quit a job that was sucking my soul and started 2 different, much less stressful and much more social and friendly jobs.
Plus, my family are well, fed and sheltered. So counting our blessings. |

Two really big things for me, August I got my daughter back living with us.
December Dick got the all clear for cancer.
So all my birthday and Christmas and every other want all in a bad year for everyone.
I am very thankful.

I've had my daughter move back in with me.
Time in lockdown has been easier on my illness although at one point it was really tough going when schools were shut.
I picked up something I've been meaning to do for a few years but couldn't face as it caused too much upset but I'm really enjoying doing it now.
I've decluttered my house some more and improved it slightly.
On the sexual side I've come to realise a few things about myself and when covid isn't so much of an issue will have some fun with it all if I can meet the right people.
