So wasn't really sure how to title this thread but here goes.
So when I was in my late teens and earlyto mid 20's (yeah like a million years ago I hear you say) the way myself and people of my generation and those before learned about sex through experimentation, trial and error and it was fun because everything was a new experience. Yes we had porn back in the olden days even if it was black and white
Really tho back then porn was hard to come by, and mainstream stuff was heavily censored.
So word of mouth or the odd film was how we learned and obviously doing.
My elongated point is this.
For those who have grown up in the internet era where porn and any information is available at the touch of the button has it taken away the magic and fun of learning?
Has it lead to unrealistic expectations and put too much pressure on both parties to perform like porn stars?
Yes whilst it's good for sexual health education and in many ways empowered women it's has also done the reverse,it's well documented that people who have just started having sex (legally obviously 18+)
Also expect to have anal straight away.
Younger women expect all guy's to be hung like porn stars and the guy's assume every woman can take it in every hole 24/7.
The fantasy and reality are two very different things, this manifests itself in messages we receive from guy's assuming that Mrs is a sex crazed slapper up for it 24/7.
Once again unrealistic expectations.
So I ask, is this a good thing or has it taken away the magic of learning from one another at the start of a sexual relationship?
Everything I am discussing is in relation to people over the age of 18.

Well this year everyone is having less sex, but I imagine that the porn companies are doing very well out if the covid situation. |

I think alot of the younger folk are missing out on to this.
U see one of my points is ,if they start off by doing everything straight away,by the time they reach 30 sex will be boring for them.
As it is lots of people are desensitised to sex and porn. |

I don’t have anything other than anecdotal evidence to back this up, my experiences and those of other people I’ve talked to, but I believe porn has made younger men quite bad in bed. It doesn’t seem to be a problem with the younger women I’ve been with, so I don’t think it’s down to age. It’s why I’m so wary of meeting men under 35. Too many seem to think throwing you around, being rough, jackhammering away at you, constantly interrupting to change position etc is the right way to have sex. They’re unwilling to give oral, they expect anal (without lube or prep), and they don’t know how to give a woman an orgasm. I’ve only met one younger man who wasn’t like that. I’ve found men my own age, who didn’t grow up watching porn from a young age, are so much better in bed. |

No one teaches us how to be a lover.
But I wouldn't object if Fab removed all users under 35 |

I dunno.
I think I still learnt to have sex by porn even back then. However porn was a bit more romantic and loving then, and I still enjoy a bit of retro porn now and it was more erotic and passionate, and dare say, loving than it is now.
Now with gonzo is, it's all wham bam, spit in your face and cum over your massive silicone tits. |

I grew up in the days of fingering and titting up. I was an expert in those. Unfortunately I have not had enough sex to have learned to do that properly though, not enough experiences to learn from. |

I wouldn’t go that far, the ladies I’ve met under 35 have been absolutely wonderful and one of them has become a very close friend |
