Everywhere & Nowhere

Is it just me noticing this or has there been a distinct increase in the amount of members with only onlyfans accounts?

Seems to be quite a common thing now.

Thoughts?

"Loads of new profiles promoting this on here unfortunately "

yeah, this doesn't really seem like the place for it. Not really in the spirit of the site

Problem is the amount of money they can make, been told about a neighbour who has joined it and boasts about how much money she can make

I haven’t noticed it but it’s not something that interests me. I wouldn’t pay to see more or someone and equally wouldn’t sell anything of my own.

That is just my own personal view though - I realise a lot of people make a lot of money from it and good luck to them.

Sneaky buggers are linking to OF via their social media accounts to skirt this site's T&Cs.

Clever, but sneaky.

Can't say I've seen much of it on here. I prefer to not show too much unless privately and to get all parties excited for a meet. We all have our preferences though.

I do, however, worry about career prospects for young OF people when that market dries up and people move on to the next social media craze. Mrs x

It's a strange one for sure and I realise everyone has different likes and motivations behind their personal choices. Personally I'm not encouraged to pay someone to talk or share pictures with me, but I guess there are folks who would enjoy that.

Like another contributor mentioned earlier, it doesn't feel much like in the spirit in which this site, or at least the experience I've had with this site over the years, is intended.

It is 3am however, I may have a different perspective tomorrow

It’s another revenue stream in trying times. Some of these “influencers” who have turned their hand to it are making serious wedge!

The last year has deffo seen an increase on here.

Kim Kardashian can be paid anywhere up to $500,000 for a sponsored Instagram post. She had 95.1 million Instagram followers at the time and she has 190 million followers now.

That's scary.......

I report if I see that crap.

I thought only fans was a parody or joke of something when I very first heard about it this year, but then I did some research, and it's real

It's another way of earning a living or topping up an otherwise low pay packet.

If they're making the most of their assets good luck to them.

If people are happy to pay to see it that's their choice.

What's "crap" to you might be the difference between paying the rent or putting food on the table, or not.

If they're only on Fab to promote their sites that's an entirely different matter.

I understand what you said, I've not really looked into it in any depth other than its a way to sell your body, agree that is your choice and if it makes the difference in paying the rent, I think there's other ways to do that but if you really don't mind or enjoy it even then fine. Bottom line is it's my opinion that I'm entitled to have and I don't see any positive in what I see as exploitation other than someone making a fast buck

Exploitation of who, the content providers or the people who purchase the content?

Genuine question, not looking for an argument or to change your mind.

If they're on fab, but also have an only fans, that's cool.

If they joined fab just as another outlet to promote their only fans then I do have a problem with that.

There and to the left a bit

Absolutely no issue with the concept of OnlyFans - which does actually put the chance to make some money directly into the hands of those with the profiles there - read a really good article by one of them recently, in which she very clearly laid the benefits out and how it's put everything in her control, from creativity to how she makes money.

What I don't like the concept of is those using Fab to promote their OF pages, which is against site rules and should be reported as such

Anyone thinking people use Fab separately from their OnlyFans (not to promote it) is a bit naive. I've lost count of the amount of profiles that add Instagram links (like said above) as a way of promoting it and getting round site rules.

I also doubt many are doing it "to feed their kids" either. Yes there may be a few but 99% of what I've seen on here is circa 20 year old women who clearly do it as a lifestyle/career choice. Each to their own but I just block/report but they'll reappear within a day or so unfortunately.

Not quite true. There are some I know on here who've told me they have only fans in conversation but's not listed on their profile, they haven't sent me any links, they use other avenues to promote it.

"Problem is the amount of money they can make, been told about a neighbour who has joined it and boasts about how much money she can make"

Is that really a problem?

My guess is the real problem is this is not supposed to be a place for marketing in that sense.

I suppose you could argue that given that women say they get offered cash on here all the time, then why not offer gents the medium of only fans

Providing content another way of making some money nothing wrong with that. As stated by someone else I only see a issue if they are on here SOLELY for the purpose of promotion, I mean I’m a content creator but I’m here for fun

You'd be surprised how many men message me to ASK me to set one up. They want to pay, it's really odd to me. I think they feel it will give them greater access and that I'll be committed and obliged to send them stuff, whereas here I just do what I want, when I want. It's not for me, but I believe people can make a lot of money from it so I guess why not?

We're not bothered by it at all really.

It's a way of making cash for whoever has one, and if they're smart enough to make it work, then fair play to them.

We would only get irritated if the sole reason for someone being on here was to promote it though.
