Ah - a few people are watching!
Who is your favourite character? And why?
Mine is Amos. Absolute killing machine, obvious backstory which makes him that way, which is being explored in S5. He had some cracking lines in first episode or two in this series too. Like "Firstly, I didn't start it. Second, they were all alive when I left the room"... haha. And what he says to Avasarala..
Keep watching! |

-Don't call me Chrissie, I'm a Member of Parliament, not your favourite stripper.
- You could be both. |

I just rewatched S4, holding off on 5 until more eps are up.
Superb show. I love that they do the gravity thing properly. You don't see that detail often and it's fundamental stuff. |

I will wait and binge watch the whole season.
Great show, attention to detail is great, such as the belters accent and language all the same it must have been quite a thing to get all the actor's speaking the same.

"Started watching it this week and do two or three episodes a night
It's still really got to get going"
1st series? It all comes together and takes off. One of the great things is the story is fairly intricate (without being impenetrable) and weaves around but then it's pulled together and you can see what's happening. There's some amazing characters in future episodes and series too. Stay with it |

Just re-watched seasons 1-3 this week ready for 4 and 5 as I’d not seen them yet.
It’s fantastically acted, I love Avasarala and the way she doesn’t take any shit. The interactions between her and Bobby are hilarious.
I’ve been a huge fan of the books for years and it’s great to see the TV show actually bringing them to life and doing them justice.

"HOW good is Amos?! And the Bobby / Alex combo?! Loving this series"
Amos is by far the most interesting character in it. Makes out he's not interested in conplex emotions and yet he's riddled with them. Also, he's hard as fucking nails and fights for the little people. What's not to like.
Still haven't watched this week's episode. Saving it. No spoilers! |

I guess the good news is that a final Season 6 has been confirmed.
But no Alex, as the Actor (Cas Anvar) has some sexual misconduct claims from cast and crew.
Whether they write him out (hard to do) or replace him remains to be seen as both could ruin the final season.
Time will tell. |

"I can't get past the 1st episode, tried watching it twice, gave up both times. Just can not get into it."
You have to watch the first season really
It took me that number of episodes to get into it |

After episode 1 I was convinced it was rubbish. I persevered out of boredom. By episode 3 I realised there was a lot more depth in chatacters I had previously written off as clichéd and wooden. By episode 4 I was hooked. Smitten in fact. |

Yeah, that's about it. I think some might say a good series can't be one that's hard (for some, I was one of them), butbit is deep and rich and fairly complex. Well worth it when it starts coming together. |

"Just finished season 5. Fantastic series. I started Battlestar Galactica last week, very rewatchable. It's on BBC iPlayer if you've not seen it."
I finished Battlestar Galactica a few weeks ago
It can be confusing, funny, dark and sexy, plus the plot twists and turns (a bit like me really!) |

Loved the series and the prequel is good too - Caprica. I have both on DVD. |

Yes just finished watching s5, now time to go back and watch all 5 seasons again. If the writers and producers get it right this could run and run.
Dare I say it? This could be the new Star Trek. |

Was an unexpected find last year. Binge watched the first 4 seasons, then they announced a delay to season 5 due to Covid. Great series. Part way through season 5 now. |

Currently there are eight books and eight short stories with the ninth and last book pencilled in to be released this year.
According to the tinterweb Amazon has ordered a final Sixth Season on 24.11.2020 but who knows. |

"Series 6 kicked off 3 weeks ago! It's great. Slow burner but enough action to make the episodes weirdly go fast...
Who's watching?!"
I decided to rewatch first 5 seasons in order to let a few of the new eps drop up to season 4 as we speak. No spoilers, but is it good? |

No spoilers here, but.. Yes, 4 was good - but different as most of it is 'on-planet', series 5 was a cracker! We learn alot more about Amos (who has some cracking lines) as well as mucho excitement out there in the great Expanse! Dominique Tipper who is the weakest actor finally gets into gear too - some truly exciting stuff coming up for you, my friend! |

"It is a great show. Nicely done. "
Beautifully made.
There's a great podcast - fronted by Wes Chatham who plays Amos and Ty Franck (one half of James S. A. Corey, the 'author' of The Expanse books) - called 'Ty and That Guy' where Wes and Ty and sometimes a guest talk about an episode at a time. Interspersed with more general movie talk. It's funny, and interesting. I love listening to it.
I guess I'm an Expanse groupie! |

"Just finished watching S6.
Awesome stuff. I’ll have to read the books now. "
I'm halfway through the final book, it's a fantastic series (books and TV) and I hope that we get to see the final 3 books adapted at some point. |

"I have finished the current season and wondering where they do next"
There have been hints at a film to finish the story, but there are 3 books unadapted, a film won't cover them and give a satisfactory ending. |
